An ingenious mix of hilarious farce and poignant drama,
Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, set to a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte, follows
two young soldiers who disguise their identities to test their lovers’
fidelity. Regarded as one of Mozart and
Da Ponte’s greatest achievements, the opera features arias and ensembles
unmatched in their musical and dramatic perfection.
It is both a wonderul introduction to opera and also much
loved by opera fans.
