Vagina Monologues on Feb 6, 7 and 13.
Cal Poly Pomona will be staging English and Spanish productions of “The Vagina Monologues” as a tribute to V-Day, a global movement to end violence against women and girls. The English production will be Feb. 6 and 7 in the Bronco Student Center’s Ursa Major suite, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The Spanish production will be Feb. 13 at the same time and location.

(A brilliant one of course, who likes our jokes.) ;) But either I couldn't figure out how to do it or I did wrong. I had just asked Meg for a favor and didn't want to be my pushy self. Your event is my motivation for starting the events post again, since so much goes on in Pomona that we don't hear about. I would be remiss if I didn't note that David Allen also posted about the event.
Feel free to be pushy! I think Pomona could benefit if more of us became a little pushy.
In the spirit of events posting. I am Formally Inviting Residents of Pomona to attend our monthly community Dinner at the Regenerative Studies Center at Cal Poly on the 24th of November at 6pm (Tuesday). The kitchen is open and industrial (minus a microwave) so if you'd like to prepare food there show up early. PLUS we have an Author of Urban Homestead Erik Knutsen Coming to give us a talk. should be fun and interesting. the only "fee" is to bring a dish. if you don't you're on dishwashing duty and some people may starve.
