Why not have it at a restaurant in Pomona?,You know shop in your own town. And why not have something like a Pot Luck I can't even afford to pay for dinner let alone drive to MONTCLAR. Hey some of us are having a hard time just putting gas in the car. No thank's I'll supoport Pomona from food I get from the food bank and I don't need to go to another city, to support Pomona. And I will vote to get these fools out of office. Hey how about a doggy bag for old Ren here right now I would eat the dog.

Ren,

We'd love to have a restaurant in Pomona make a similar offer. Unfortunately, we don't have those kinds of corporate restaurants in Pomona.

For those who do dine out and go to places like Claremont, Montclair, La Verne, etc. to dine, at least we can ask that they do so to help support the library.

I love ya man and will be willing to buy you lunch anytime.

I hope to see everyone at the Library Rally, Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 4:30 pm.

This will be the last day the library will be open before it closes for 2 weeks and then reopens in its new configuration with new service hours (20 hrs/week).

The rally was a great outpouring for the library. Despite the heat and the 4 pm time on a weekday during the first week of school, people turned out in support.

The library is now closed for 2.5 weeks and reopen at only 20 hours/week.

Very sad.
