PUSD dual-language immersion programs?

I can't seem to find evidence of any dual-language immersion programs in the Pomona Unified School District. Am I missing them or do they not exist? Such programs exist in a some relatively nearby cities (e.g., Ontario).

If they don't exist here, what are the chances PUSD would ever create them? Should such programs be a priority?

Pride,

I'm pretty sure they do have this. It's been several years but I overheard a Mom say her child was learning spanish and she really liked the program. It's been awhile so it's possible they've been discontinued.

Pride,
And you already know how I feel! What a great way to infuse tremendous pride in children that are English as a second language learners. It's a great asset that PUSD may not even know that it has. I'd be willing to pay a nominal fee for my child to participate if they offered it at Lincoln.

And to the blogging world, yes, my child is a Lincoln "Bulldog"! I have a Cortez "Wizard" as well. LOL
