May Days

May is National Barbecue Month, National Salsa Month, National Egg Month, National Hamburger Month, and Bike to Work Month.

May 12-18 is Children's Book Week (see below)
May 12-16 is Bike to Work Week

(Building 10) Schools' Agricultural and Nutritional Fair "Watch your Garden Grow"
From reading their website, this is an agricultural group financed through horse track proceeds, with the mission of educating children on the role of agriculture in our society. Their education outreach includes teaching materials aimed at the elementary and secondary levels. Now that's sad. Whatever happened to Pomona's supposed resurgence?

Pomona's planning commission cancelled a meeting because there are no agenda items. Tha's just sad.

We measure resurgence in geological time frames down here in Pomona.
