I have to say that that photo is one of the creepier images I've seen in a while. And by creepy I mean cool.

Accidentally deleted my last comment, please excuse the midafternoon computer illiteracy.

Meant to say: When one clicks on the image to see a larger version, the door/doorframe look eerily aglow for some reason. Or, I might be thinking that because I grew up across the tracks from it and was told many a scary story starring the mansion.

Another Halloween event at the mansion might be kinda cool. Creepily cool, that is!

Ed,

A family halloween event at the mansion sounds great. It would be easy to work in some Pomona history while we are at it.

Actually, this was only photo I had on hand of the mansion and it was from when they did their Halloween Haunted Mansion a few years ago. I was hoping that it wouldn't be TOO scary. It's a beautiful house and has all of the Victorian splendor that one might expect.

The problem they've had with the Halloween events is that it takes a lot of work and the rewards are not as great. The Halloween event was more spooky/instructional than the kind of scary things done at Fairplex.
